Helpful post! I had my ‘08 Sport at the dealer for an oil change yesterday, and they didn’t reset the oil life indicator. Rather than go back or try to get on the phone with them, I decided to see if I could Google the answer on how to reset it. It worked perfectly first try.

Great advice. But it is over simple. You need to add the words “then let go for a sec” after you see the display flashing.

Thanks for the info! Just wondering though, how much faith do you really put in this indicator? I changed my oil today at 40% oil life but I had not had an oil change in 5 months/10,000 km. Seems like WAY too long to go without changing the oil…
